Lack of information and education is one of the biggest problems in the Amazon region. This can be solved with special environmental education programs, but it doesn't solve the problem for the local population, if they are not provided with means to survive.
The Amazon population is actually small for the area the forest covers and the problem is not the local population, but sometimes they are changed into instruments in hands of big international companies with both eyes on the profit.
Manufacturing products from wild harvested fruits, from the Amazon rainforest, is our contribution to preserving the rainforest biological and ethnic diversity. It is important to provide the local populations with an opportunity and an alternative to capturing endangered animals or deforesting.
It is our idea that; making the natural rainforest profitable, by using the same natural resources, over and over again, will encourage the ones making a living out of it, to protect the rainforest.
