Andiroba

Main Actions:
heals wounds, reduces pain, reduces inflammation, kills bacteria, relaxes muscles, kills parasites, expels worms, repels insects, kills insects.

Other actions:
soothes skin, reduces fever.

Main uses:

for insect bites and stings
as an insect repellant
for psoriasis, dermatitis, heat rash, skin fungi, and other skin problems
for skin parasites
for skin cancer

Copaiba

Main Actions:
relieves pain, reduces inflammation, kills germs, kills bacteria, kills fungi, inhibits tumor growth, dries secretions, heals wounds, protects gastric tract, mildly laxative, sooths and softens, disinfects.

Other Actions:
increases urination, expels worms, reduces acid, supresses coughs, expels phlegm.

Main Uses:

As a topical analgesic (pain-reliever) and anti-inflammatory for wounds, rashes, dermatitis, bug bites, boils, and psoriasis.
As an antiseptic, disinfectant, and antimicrobial agent for internal and external bacterial infections.
For nail and skin fungi.

Pracaxi

Main Actions:
For treatment of skin spots, depigmentation, severe acne and acne scars, it helps to hydrate and promote cellular renewal, is a powerful antiseptic it is often used in hospital to cleanse skin after surgery, to treat bites from snakes, healing of ulcers, prevention of stretch marks, to treat skin infections, treating of dry and tired skin, to avoid wrinkles and pigmentation marks by speeding up the healing process.

Other Actions:
Pracaxi oil has one of the highest level of behenic acid among natural products.

Promotes conditioning action to the hair;
Promotes smooth feel to the hair and skin;
Improves wet compatibility;
Increases hair brightness;
Helps to promote more viscosity in emulsions (promoting stabilization);

Pracaxi oil is compatible with cationic agents. It can be incorporated in a big variety of hair and skin care products, such as: leave-on and rinse-off conditioner, hair conditioners and masks, cream and lotions.

Buruti

Main Actions:
For neutralizing free radicals in the skin, to treat burns, exceptional source of essential fatty acids, help moisturize the skin, is a free-radical scavenger, protecting fibroblast cells (essential for supporting collagen and elastin production).

Other Actions:
Filters and absorbs the ultraviolet rays known to contribute to skin cancer.

Brazil Nut

Main Actions:

Fights free radicals, is nutritious, is soothing.

Main Uses:

As a nutritive
As an antioxidant (for its selenium content) *
As an emollient (oil is used for the skin and hair)
