Do you want to loose weight faster?

When you want to loose weight, does it help more to run the same distance faster?

Sir Isac Newton's Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, first published on July 5, 1687. Newton used them to explain and investigate the motion of many physical objects and systems. He said that Work (when working you use energy/kcal) is Force times Distance:

Newtons formula says that the work (W) is equal to the line integral of the force (F) along a path (C).

What does it mean?

It means that the time and intensity is what counts if you want to loose weight. Not the distance. So, if you're not really feeling in shape to start jogging, you should assure yourself that you, when walking, you have lost as much weight as someone who is jogging, as long as both "travel" the same distance (see table below).

So there is no difference between high- and low intensity?

When it comes to calories, no, but considering where the calories come from yes. When starting the "work" with high intensity, calories will come from available carbohydrates, often available in your muscles, then after a while the body will start burning fat. If you start with low intensity, the body will go for the fat, but it doesn't really matter if you want to loose weight, because the body will have to replace the carbohydrates taken from the muscles and it will come from the fat.

So, is hard work the only way to loosing weight?

It's all about how many calories you put into your body and how many you use. If you don't have time to use the calories it takes to loose weight, maybe you should consider putting less calories into the body? It could even be an easier solution for most of us, but some seems to gain weight no matter what and for sure some put on more weight than others.

Even though we don't have science to document this, it must be logic to say that some bodies absorb calories better than others, more logic than saying that some bodies burn more calories than others.

Chlorogenic acid is a family of naturally occurring organic compounds and is one of the phenols found in guaraná, coffee, as well as many other plants. This compound, long known as an antioxidant, also slows the release of glucose into the bloodstream after a meal. Chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid are antioxidants and might contribute to the prevention of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and cardiovascular disease.

Laboratory studies of Guaraná showed antioxidant and antibacterial effects, and also fat cell reduction (when combined with conjugated linoleic acid) from chronic intake of Guaraná. The Amazon Secret Açaí contains both guaraná and linoleic acid from the Açai. It does contain cane juice (sugar), so it's doubtful that you will gain any weight loss from drinking it, but compared to other energizers or soft drinks, we believe it's a better alternative, if you need a sweet beverage.

Plain coffee (no sugar) and ex. Wild Açai may be a good combination, but there are no good research that document this. Even so, we know from users of it (Wild Açai), that the blood sugar levels improves.

When reading the tables above; consider that younger (younger than 40) people use more calories and older less (That's why it's not likely that a young athlete will win the marathon in the olympics). Heavier people have to work harder (more weight to transport) and therefore use more calories and if their weight is below what's used in these tables, they burn less calories. It's according to Newtons second law.
